Y.A.B Datuk Seri Mohd. Ali Rostam, the Chief Minister of Malacca visited our Melaka Memorial Park on 23rd May 2005 and was impressed with the park's facilities.
The visit was accompanied by Datuk Yang Chien Chu, the President of Malacca Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Y.B. Koh Nai Kwong, the Crematorium Sub Committee Chairman. Their visit includes the crematorium and columbariums. The Da Bo Gong Temple and Di Zang Wang Temple for the ancestral tablets which cost approximately RM 1 million to build are to be completed by September 2005. A parlor is also built near the crematorium.
